IMC is a privately owned company established in 1997. It is Europe’s largest learning solutions provider with the most comprehensive portfolio of e-learning-related products and services. IMC offers a wide range of solutions for training and education, learning content design and production, as well as for consulting and managing learning services. IMC investigates novel trends in learning technologies and creates prototypes of new learning software. Important research partners are TUM, DFKI at Saarbrucken, Fraunhofer Institute, RWTH Aachen, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Know-Centre at TU Graz and Open University UK.
Dr. Uta Schwertel works as a Research Manager at IMC. With her experience in the management of European and national research projects in the area of technology-enhanced-learning she co-ordinates the technical development and integration of the RHAPSODY program. With his expertise in instructional design and content creation Alexander Komar is responsible for the didactical design and technical realization of the E-Learning program.
Role in the consortium
As a partner in WP1, WP4 and WP6, IMC is responsible for the technical project infrastructure, didactical design of the E-Learning programme, as well as the technical setup and delivery of the programme as part of the pilot study.
